When I see the result, I feel character design not a very big problem to me. If compare to facial expression, quite difficult to me. For me, I think I need to explore and study more about facial expressions.
Based on my experiment, eye and mouth moving still ok but the bad thing is face muscle. I din’t move my face muscle when turn to another expression like happy, sad, angry, frown and surprised.
When I start doing my facial expression, everything is moving smooth. This is because I follow up the tutorial.
After blind skin, I use component editor to control the vertex. All my vertex run off and make my whole modelling look weird. So, I look for the solution and find out that I forgot to open UV. Plus, freeze transform and delete history before start rigging.
Actually I very interested in drawing and rigging. Rigging actually quite fun and enjoyable to me. Character design also one of my intertest. Character design is the beginning part in job so I am the one who set up the character of movie or animation. Everyone follow my design to develop but also the stressful job too.
Future in study, I think I will analyize more about rigging part not just using blend shape in maya.
